A deputy-involved shooting occurred Sunday evening after deputies responded to a family disturbance in Nipomo. Deputies arrived at the 700 block of Hill Street around 6:30 p.m.
The shooting happened when those deputies arrived on the scene.
Sheriff's detectives secured the scene. Officials said there is no threat to the public at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
