The second annual Girls in Aviation Day returned to the Oceano Airport on Saturday.
Organizers say the family-friendly event celebrated the women shaping the future of flight. Plus, it gave young girls an opportunity to explore more about aviation and aerospace.
It featured interactive experiences and educational resources. Additionally, it allowed children to connect with local pilots and commercial airlines.
The event had food trucks and scholarship opportunities.
