Temps around the Central Coast this week look to be above average each day. Beaches in the mid 70s with coastal and interior valleys in the upper 70s and some scattered 80s are also likely. There actually isn't a lot of day to day difference all week with the forecast.

High pressure over the area will produce mostly clear skies this week. Conditions will be dry and locally breezy with night and morning offshore winds which will be locally strong at times.

I don't think we'll see local advisories for this offshore event but Ventura and LA counties will likely see advisory level winds.

Changes come at the end of the week with some increasing high clouds.

Much cooler over the weekend as the ridge breaks down and a trough approaches from the northwest. Models are not lining up well on the system however. Some models are suggesting rain Sunday, right now a 20-30% chance seems a look way to manage the potential but stay tuned for refinements for the weekend. Right now it looks a lot like the last system which gave us very hit and miss rain, mostly miss and not heavy.
