Le Vigne Winery's owner and head chef is cooking up his take-and-bake special this weekend, and the winery will be offering a Mother's Day special menu next weekend.
The winery's tasting room remains open for pick-up and purchases only from Monday-Saturday from 12pm to 4pm. Chef Walter Filippini, who is from Italy, says he serves 50 meals a day.
"What makes the winery special is the people that come to see us, they are friends, they are like a family. We have customers that come to see us 15, 25, 30 times a year," said Filippini. "We are proud of what we do and that is why we are involved, all of my family, in the events."
