An elderly woman in a small Sedan struck a fire hydrant at the 500 block of Northpoint Cir in Orcutt on Saturday. Crews with the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the Santa Maria Department, and CHP responded to the scene at approximately 6:28 p.m.
Officials say water entered the garages of two residential homes, reaching around 6 inches.
No injuries were reported and no living spaces were affected. The driver was evaluated on the scene.
