UPDATE (6:31 p.m.) - Santa Barbara County Fire officials say four people were displaced as a result of Wednesday's fire, and the Red Cross has been notified.
While the cause of the fire remains under investigation, officials say it appears that it started in the garage and some chemicals stored there may have contributed to its spread.
One man was reportedly taken to a local hospital with injuries.
The fire did not spread to any other homes.

(5:23 p.m.) - Firefighters were at the scene of a residential structure fire in Orcutt on Wednesday afternoon.
The fire was reported at about 4:30 p.m. at a home in the 200 block of Fleming Lane.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department is asking the public to avoid the area while crews are at the scene.
