An AT&T outage affecting 5G/LTE service in the City of Santa Barbara may impact callers trying to reach 911 from AT&T devices, the Santa Barbara Police Department reported on Thursday.
Police say the following options are available for people in Santa Barbara who are in need of emergency assistance:
- Text 911
- Call 911 using a different cell phone provider or a landline
- Call the city’s non-emergency number at (805) 882-8900
There is no estimated time for repair.
