A suspicious package at Chabad at UCSB on the 700 block of Camino Pescadero is harmless, Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office announced Friday evening.
"We thank the public for their patience and cooperation while deputies worked to ensure everyone’s safety," the sheriff's office said.
Deputies evacuated the area as a precaution while the bomb squad cleared the scene.
