A crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle in Goleta resulted in a fatality, the Santa Barbara County Fire Department reported Monday afternoon.
It happened at about 4:20 p.m. on northbound Highway 101, near the Glen Annie Road exit.
The highway was reduced to one lane of traffic as a result of the crash, and first responders are asking motorists to avoid the area while emergency crews are on scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
