UPDATE (11:16 a.m.) - All lanes of southbound Highway 101 have been reopened through Santa Barbara.

UPDATE (10:30 a.m.) - The #2 lane of the highway has been reopened.

(7:24 a.m.) - The Santa Barbara division of the California Highway Patrol says both lanes have been closed on Highway 101 southbound near Sheffield Drive in southern Santa Barbara County after a crash and fuel spill.
Caltrans posted that both lanes are closed at Olive Mill Road. It says crews are on scene to clean up the spill.
According to Caltrans, both southbound lanes are closed for an unknown duration and traffic is being diverted at San Ysidro Road.
CHP is asking travelers to find a new route if possible and allow extra time when traveling through the area.
