The northbound and southbound Gaviota Roadside Rest Areas along Highway 101 are closed. According to Caltrans, the rest areas are experiencing issues related to the water supply, which is needed to operate the facilities fully.
Caltrans says it's working to restore the water, but it's unknown when the rest areas will be reopened.
