Drivers passing through Goleta face overnight closures on Highway 217 starting on Monday at 10 p.m.
Officials say Caltrans crews will shut down roads in both directions between Hollister Avenue and Sandspit Road. The road will reopen every morning at 6 p.m.
During the closures, workers will be paving the road for the San Jose Creek Bridge replacement project. Detour signs will guide drivers through the area.
The overnight closures are expected to end on Thursday morning.
