(8:29 a.m.) - A pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a car in Goleta Tuesday morning.
It happened along Los Carneros around 6:15 a.m.
The road remained closed from Calle Real to Cathedral Oaks as of 8 a.m.
Authorities say the driver remained at the scene.
The pedestrian’s injuries were described as serious.
No other information was immediately available.
