Police say a person was hit by a car in Santa Barbara.
The incident happened on Chapala Street around 9am on Saturday August 8.
Santa Barbara police brought the person to Cottage Hospital. They are in stable condition.
They found the car and driver near the scene of the accident.
600-700 Chapala Street was temporarily closed during the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
