The Santa Barbara Foundation is now accepting nominations for its Celebrate Philanthropy 2026 awards.
The program honors individuals, couples or families who have demonstrated outstanding civic and charitable work in the Santa Maria Valley.
This support can either come from service to the Santa Maria community or direct financial support.
Each year, an independent committee comes together to select award winners and help share their stories to the Central Coast. Up to two awardees are selected each year.
"All you have to do is go to SBFoundation.org, click the link to apply, and fill out a couple of questions. It's actually only two questions to fill out. And you click submit. And there you have nominated somebody for Celebrate Philanthropy,” said Development Manager for the Santa Barbara Foundation Anna Boren Lopez.
