Santa Barbara Fire Department crews responded to a structure fire on the 1200 block of Laguna Street at approximately 2:20 p.m., where heavy fire impacted the lower unit of a 2-unit dwelling.
According to an X post by fire officials five engines, one ladder truck, one hazmat unit, and a Battalion Chief responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.
Fire officials say the cause of the fire is under investigation.
