Santa Barbara Police received a report of an assault with a knife on early Sunday morning.
Police responded to the report at the 300 block of North Milpas Street and found a 21-year-old man in a parking lot. Medical crews then took the victim to the hospital for further treatment.
Police say there is no ongoing threat to the public and the incident is under investigation. Police have not released any information about a potential suspect.
