Southern California Edison is warning customers in Santa Barbara about a potential public safety power shutoff on Sunday.
Officials say that if extreme weather conditions cause a fire near the area, they will trigger a power shortage. The power could go out starting at 12 p.m. on Sunday and may stay off until midnight on Monday.
Officials advise checking your generator fuel supplies just in case of a power shutoff.
