Students from high schools across California participated in Saturday's 5th annual FFA Field Day at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria.
Students got to compete in activities related to science and agriculture. Some of those activities included soil and land evaluation, nursery and landscaping, and vegetable crop judging.
The event kicked off with a welcoming ceremony at the Boyd Concert Hall.
