A multi-vehicle crash backed up northbound traffic along Highway 101 through Santa Maria Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was first reported at around 6:30 a.m in the northbound lanes of the highway near Highway 166 and reportedly involved three vehicles.
Later, at about 8:30 a.m., a two-vehicle crash on northbound Highway 101 near Main Street also blocked traffic.
No other information was immediately available and no word on the extent of any injuries.
