Two pedestrians were hospitalized after being hit by a car in Santa Maria Friday morning.
According to Santa Maria police, the driver was heading northbound on Miller Street near Dena Way when they struck the pedestrians shortly after 7 a.m.
Their injuries are described as major.
Police say there are no indications this was a criminal act.
No other information was immediately available.
