The holiday spirit is in full swing at the Santa Maria Public Library.
From now through the end of December, Wishing Trees can be found on the first floor of the main library.
Visitors are invited to write down a hope, wish, or dream for the upcoming year, then hang that wish on one of the trees and read the notes written by others.
The Santa Maria Public Library is located at 421 South McClelland Street.
