The Santa Ynez Airport was shut down Friday evening after a helicopter crash.
It happened just after 5 p.m.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the crash involved a small helicopter with just one person on board.
The pilot was taken to a local hospital with what are reported to be minor injuries.
