Sunday and Monday saw a lot of marine layer as expected across the area but the pattern is changing quickly again. The Central Coast will be on the eastern edge of a developing ridge for the next couple days.
This position will lead to offshore winds during night and morning hours. This will lead to much more sunshine and warm temps. Some Sundowner winds are also likely tonight for the Southcoast, some gusts of 30-40mph are possible later tonight into early Tuesday morning.
I think we'll see plenty of 70s for highs the next couple days (a scattered 80 is definitely possible).
Don't get too used to it though. Friday into the weekend an upper low slides into the area broadening a trough over the area, this will turn winds back onshore and temps fall back into the 60s. It is possible we could even see showers but right now I am just going with cooler conditions into early next week.
