Some warming into the weekend but next week could see showers again

An upper level ridge is building in, it isn't very impressive but has enough amplitude to increase high pressure and the winds across the area over the next few days. A wind advisory is in place into Friday for high winds in the Santa Barbara county mountains, passes canyons and the adjacent Southcoast.

Temperatures will also warm a bit, especially away from the beaches.

Temperatures stay mild to slightly above average for some into Saturday. Late Sunday into Monday a cold front pushes across the area for cooler temps, clouds and some scattered showers. Right now it looks better at mid-levels than the surface but should still be strong enough to produce some light rain, but looks like totals should stay under .15".

The second half of next week should see temps rise again.
