KSBY’s Friday Night Highlights Week 5 Play of the Week goes to Lompoc’s senior running back Toa Taua 65-yard rushing touchdown. His quick movement allowed him to fend off would-be tacklers as we weaved through traffic before getting into the end zone. Taua had nine carries for 214 yards and three touchdowns. His longest rushing TD run was for 99-yards.
St. Joseph’s quarterback, Dino Maldonado is named the Player of the Week. The senior was 12 of 14 for 286 yards with four touchdowns. He also rushed for 51 yards including a 25-yard rushing touchdown.
