KSBY’s Friday Night Highlights Week 8 Play of the Week goes to Arroyo Grande’s senior running back Michael McClean and Santa Maria quarterback Blake Truhitte is named the Player of the Week.
McClean ran a slant route while staying perfectly in bounds before breaking the plane as two Righetti defenders came his way. He completed 84 all-purpose yard s and one touchdown.
Truhitt is named the FNH Week 8 Player of the Week. The senior had 295 yards and five touchdowns while leading the Saints to a 40-19 victory over Morro Bay. He had 198 yards passing with two touchdowns and 97 yards rushing with three touchdowns. Truhitte is also the punter and punt and kickoff returner.
