A Dos Pueblos football player is recovering after he was injured in Friday night’s junior varsity game at Righetti High School.
The student-athlete went down in the first half of the Chargers’ game against the Warriors. He was transported by helicopter to Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara.
Dos Pueblos Athletic Director Dan Feldhaus spoke with the player’s family on Saturday, and they told him that all the tests came back negative after his overnight stay.
The family is expecting a full recovery.
