KSBY’s Friday Night Highlights Week 10 ‘Game of the Week’ is a rivalry showdown for the Mountain League title as Righetti hosts St. Joseph.
Righetti has won its first three League games by a combined 82 points, including a 46-24 victory over Arroyo Grande in Week 8.
At 8-1 overall, the Warriors are coming off a bye week and will be plenty rested for its matchup with St. Joseph.
With the series tied, 4-4, in the last eight meetings, this could very well be one of the biggest games these two programs have ever played against one another.
Righetti is expecting a huge, competitive battle on Friday night.
“Expect two schools with a bunch of kids that grew up together and have been wanting to play each other their entire childhood with this much on the line, showing up and battling,” Righetti head coach Tony Payne said. “We’re two completely different styles, probably two different philosophies and two teams full of really tough kids who get coached up a lot.”
Righetti will look to snap its three-game losing streak to the Knights at Warrior Stadium, kickoff is set for 7 P.M on Friday.
