The Central Coast Athletic Association announced its addition of a football league Wednesday afternoon.
After CIF approved 13 Central Coast high schools from moving to the Central Section from the Southern Section last year, two new leagues were formed for the 2018 fall football season, the Mountain and Ocean Leagues.
Mountain League (2018):

Paso Robles
Atascadero
Ocean League (2018):
Nipomo
Pioneer Valley
San Luis Obispo
Templeton
Santa Maria
Morro Bay
With the return of Mission Prep to 11-man football and several motivations from several schools, a third league has been added. The new structure includes three four-team leagues.
