Coast’s Blake Schafer drove in a run in the top of the 5th, then closed it out on the mound with a strikeout in the 6th, as the Coast Little League team defeated Arroyo Grande Valley, 9-4, on Monday night in Nipomo.
The two teams will meet Tuesday night for a shot at representing District 65 in next month’s sectionals.
