Hannah and Lauren Alanna Marchbanks, along with Maeve Siems, are heading to the USA Gymnastics Acro Nationals next month in Des Moines, Iowa, and they’ll be doing so as Western Regional Champions.
The Central Coast Gymnastics’ Level 10 trio accomplished the feat earlier this month, and now the focus shifts to getting it done on a national stage.
The three girls have won national championships before, but they’ve never done it together as a trio.
“It is their last year competing together,” Central Coast Gymnastics head coach and director Rion Page said. “They have also been hard working athletes on this team for years now, and they have taken the title of national champions before.”
“We’re hoping for first, and we’re really excited,” San Luis Obispo senior Hannah Marchbanks said. “We just want to hit all of our skills and do our best routines of the year.”
