KSBY’s Friday Night Highlights Week 5 Player of the Week goes to Righetti’s Adan Solis, while the game-winning field goal from Lompoc’s Aldoberto Anguiano earned Play of the Week.
Tied 21-21 with under one minute to play on Friday night, Lompoc lined up for a field goal against St. Joseph. The Braves called upon the leg of junior kicker Aldoberto Anguiano to make the game-winning 38-yard field goal. Anguiano answered the call and put Lompoc on top of St. Joseph for good, 24-21.
Righetti senior running back Adan Solis rushed for 212 yards on 27 carries and a touchdown in the Warriors’ 34-14 victory over Dos Pueblos. Solis added three receptions for 35 yards as well.
