Despite having a broken wrist throughout his junior year St Joseph's Angel Ortiz made every minute count, leading his Knights to the second round of the CIF State Playoffs. Ortiz returned to Puerto Rico last week, but with the sports world being at a standstill due to coronavirus concerns, this offseason has felt different.

"I can't go shoot or go to the gym because everything is closed, and if I go, the police just come and get me out," Ortiz said. "Right now I'm just working out at my house, doing push-ups. Whatever I can do to get better."

With just one season left at St. Joseph, and the near future being up in the air, Ortiz says he is already looking forward to his senior year.

"I have a lot of goals," Ortiz added. "My first goal is to get a D-1 scholarship. I had a very hard season, so my goal is to work the hardest I've ever done before."
