Lompoc plated two runs in the bottom of the first inning, and Oscar Rojas had everything working on the mound as the Braves took down rival Cabrillo, 5-1, on Friday afternoon.
Rojas went seven strong innings, striking out 11, and allowing just one run.
Cabrillo's Luke Kovach matched Rojas for a majority of the game, as the lefty got two big strikeouts to end the threat in the bottom of the fifth.
