After an improbable comeback, the U.S. mixed doubles curling team defeated Italy in the semifinals to advance to the gold medal game of the Milan Cortina Olympics.
In the eighth end of the semifinal, Cory Thiesse stuck the final shot for Team USA to take her team to the next final match.
