It has been almost a week since the viral video exploded on social media, and luckily for us, the two overnight celebrities live right in our backyard.
Kyle Tognazzini has been crushing bombs off of his son Brett, who's not even two years old yet.
"We're just trying to make the best of the situation we're in," Tognazzini said.
Without a baseball season, the Righetti varsity head coach is focusing on his other job, and he has the perfect teammate at home.
"He usually gets to see me an hour and a half after practice and that’s it, or in the mornings, and now he gets to see me all day," Tognazzini said. "That's when I started chronicling everything we're doing, and it's been a lot of fun."
For Kyle, being away from his players has been tough, but having more time to be dad has made it a lot easier.
"Your kid laughing, giggling, the belly laughs that he does all the time, it gets me emotional just thinking about it," Kyle added. "It made people happy and we need that right now."
To anyone who thinks Kyle might have been showing off a bit, don't worry; Brett's redemption video is on the way.
"I have to enjoy it while I can," Kyle said. "He's going to get me at some point, and it's probably going to be sooner than later."
