The San Luis Obispo Parks and Recreation center is keeping kids active and entertained throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
For most kids in the area, they aren't getting the social aspect that they would normally get from school. With the camps and clinics hosted by the Recreation center, kids are able to interact and play sports with kids in the area.
"It's been really refreshing and really great to get all of the kids out and getting them some social interaction and fitness," said recreation coordinator, Chris Woods.
The camps for December are already full but on Monday the department is opening the registration for pickle ball and speed and agility camps for the month of Janurary.
