The cold front which brought rain to the Central Coast Thursday afternoon will move out this evening. The totals look like they are falling in line with expectations (.25-1").

The weather quickly changes back to a quiet pattern for the weekend.

Some wind sheltered valleys, especially in the interior could see low clouds and fog later tonight into the morning hours.

High pressure will build over California on Friday and stay for the weekend. Offshore night and morning winds return ushering in dry and mostly clear skies with cold mornings and mild afternoons.

Another minor rain event is possible Tuesday with another system moving thru California. Looks like the primary focus will be north of here but showers are possible.

The January 28 and 29 could feature another system with significant potential for California, especially northern California with some activity here on the Central Coast.
