Taylor Hillo joined KSBY News as the weekend weather anchor and multimedia journalist in October of 2021. She is a graduate of Cal Lutheran where she majored in Broadcast Television and was also a part of the Radio Broadcast team. While in school, Taylor had the opportunity to study abroad in Barcelona. She loved Europe so much she took some time off after college to live in Italy.
Taylor is a California girl, born and raised in Santa Clarita, but recently was living in Eastern Washington where she worked as a weather anchor/reporter at KNDU, the NBC affiliate in the Tri-Cities. While in Washington, Taylor fell in love with weather and decided to go back to school to earn her degree in meteorology. She is currently enrolled in Mississippi State University’s Broadcast and Operational Meteorology Program (BOMP).
Although she loves weather forecasting, she is very excited to get back to her California roots where sun is in the forecast most often.
Off-camera, Taylor is either doing homework, binging a new Netflix show, at the gym, or enjoying family time now that she lives back close to home. She loves food, her Golden Retriever Thor, dessert, music, and any chance to get on a boat. She also enjoys telling a good story. If you have one you think she should tell, email her at taylor.hillo@ksby.com. You can also follow her on social media at the links on the top of this page.
