Believe it or not Northern California saw some heavy rain this morning, locally we just saw some mid-level clouds along with a cold frontal passage.

Winds will pick up out of the NW this evening before turning NE in the night and morning hours Tuesday-Friday as high pressure builds back in. However these offshores will not last all day, in fact winds should turn back each day and become NW in the afternoon and gust at times up to 30mph.

The winds and the wind-shift cycle should keep marine clouds mostly mixed out, so plenty of sun on tap.

Temperatures will actually be mild to slightly warm near the coast with coastal valleys back into the upper 70s and lower 80s with inland valleys in the lower 80s for the next few days.

Saturday into the weekend looks like upper 80s or lower 90s return. Earlier model runs liked temperatures even warmer near 100, but the latest output is less bullish so we'll go with that for now.
