There is a an upper low over the are today and we already saw some light showers last night into early this morning then partly cloudy and windy conditions. There are some thunderstorms over the interior this afternoon fueled by cold air aloft and heating. These will dissipate this evening.
Another weak low pressure system will give much of the the area a chance of showers later tonight into Saturday. Dry conditions are expected Saturday night and Sunday. Yet another weak low pressure system will give the area a slight chance of showers on Monday. Dry and much warmer weather will then prevail for the remainder of next week.
Outside of the showers there will be plenty of clouds, the marine base is above 5000 so clouds will have no problem reaching the interior.
A slight chance of light measurable showers is expected later tonight into Sat morning as well. Any measurable rainfall tonight thru Sat will be less than 0.10 inch, outside of the early thunderstorms in the interior where up to .75" is possible but those will be isolated.
Little change can be expected into Monday with the deep moist layer persisting. Partly to mostly cloudy skies should rule. More showers possible on Monday mainly for the interior, with little in the way of measurable rain expected.
Temps will be a little below average thru the weekend and Monday with a jump Wednesday-Froday when a ridge develops. Winds will likely be a factor later next week, advisories are possible. I also think we'll see some temps jump into the 80s by later next week.
