Grover beach has begun the permit process to legally sell Fireworks for July 4th.
As of Tuesday, the city is accepting applications for locally-based non-profit organizations wanting to sell firecrackers for Independence Day. The application window is open through May 31. People can apply at the City Clerk’s Office during normal business hours.
Fireworks sales will only be allowed from June 28th through July 5th. People are only allowed to set off fireworks from July 3rd through July 5th and on New Year’s Eve.
