California Highway Patrol reports a 34-year-old man has died while riding his motorcycle in Santa Maria.
CHP said it happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on Los Berros Road, west of Highway 101.
The motorcyclist reportedly veered into the roadway and lost control when his bike flipped, ejecting him. He died on impact. CHP has not released his identity.
Authorities say it does not appear any other vehicles were involved, but the crash is under investigation.
