Two arrested for drugs, stolen baseball cards, other loot in Santa Barbara

Two Santa Barbara residents were arrested Tuesday after deputies found them unconscious inside a vehicle with drugs and stolen loot. 

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office says deputies received word that a couple was possibly unconscious inside a vehicle on the 1200 block of north San Marcos Road around 6:30 a.m.

When deputies arrived, they found Roxanne Belton and Gregory Anderson around various types of drug paraphernalia in plain sight. Both refused medical attention. 

The sheriff’s office found several illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle, along with various ID cards, debit cards, passports and social security cards that belonged to other people. A large baseball card collection, including one signed by a Nolan Ryan, was also found in the car. 

Both were booked into the county jail for possession charges of illegal drugs, paraphernalia, methamphetamine, illegal drug for sales. 

Anderson was also had an outstanding warrant for $20,000.
