UPDATE: All lanes open on Hwy 101 following crashes in Pismo Beach, delays continue

UPDATE (8:50 a.m.) - Caltrans reports all lanes of Highway 101 northbound near Price Street in Pismo Beach are open, but drivers should still expect delays in the area.

CHP reports two separate traffic collisions occurred, one involving four vehicles and another involving two.

Minor injuries were reported.

ORIGINAL STORY (8 a.m.) - The California Highway Patrol was responding to a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 101 northbound near Price Street in Pismo Beach Monday morning.

According to CHP's Traffic Incident Information Page, the crash was reported at 7:46 a.m. and all northbound lanes were blocked. The number 2 lane was reopened a few minutes later.

Initial reports were that as many as eight vehicles were involved.

No word on the extent of any injuries but an ambulance was requested along with tow companies.

Shortly before 8 a.m., CHP was reporting another crash involving a vehicle into the center divider at Wadsworth Avenue.

Drivers should expect delays in the area.
