NW winds 15-30 miles per hour can gust up to 40 at the coast and up to 50mph locally in the SB county mountains/passes and canyons thru 9pm. Winds will die down late and shift offshore but also return in the afternoons over the weekend.
Temps for the weekend look generally cool with 60s at the beaches and 60s and low 70s for coastal valleys with interior valleys also in the lower 70s.
Particulate matter near the Nipomo Mesa will blow around due to the wind and an air quality warning has been issued for sensitive breathers. That advisory from the APCD is in place into Sunday.
Another trough in the jet will reinforce generally cool and windy conditions Tuesday. Temps warm the latter half of next week.
