Temps peak Friday and Saturday

High pressure is building back into the state and will produce warm temperatures Friday and Saturday.  Inland high temps will be in the upper 80s, but coastal valleys look warm as well in the mid to upper 70s.  Beaches will see high temps in the mid to upper 60s.

Weak offshore flow in the morning will be replaced by an afternoon NW wind up to 20 mph.  There looks to be some patchy marine clouds in the night and morning hours but whatever forms should clear quickly.

Sunday through next week the ridge over the western U.S. will vary in strength but conditions look typically springlike here.  Beaches look to see highs in the mid to upper 60s, coastal valleys in the mid to upper 70s with inland temps hovering in the mid to upper 80s.

The variability of the ridge looks to keep the area from getting too hot.  Nothing exciting in sight.
