Gusty offshore winds continue through the weekend with fair skies across our region.
A wind advisory is in effect in San Luis Obispo through 9 p.m. Saturday and Santa Barbara County through 10 a.m. Monday.
A red flag warning is also in effect through the Santa Barbara County south coast with low relative humidity and gusty winds.
Sustained northwest winds will reach 20 to 30 mph with gusts reaching 55 mph.
Wind speeds will decrease along the Central Coast this evening, gusty conditions will continue along the southern Santa Barbara County coast through Sunday and into Monday. There’s a slight drop-off in wind speeds expected mid-morning on Sunday. The strongest winds are expected to develop with a Sundowner event late Saturday afternoon into Sunday.
High pressure builds into the region on Monday, contributing to clear skies and above-normal temperatures. Thursday, temperatures will start to cool.
