Tuesday will be a bit of a transitional day for the inland valleys. High pressure is continuing to build which means daytime highs are climbing back into the 90s Tuesday before reaching triple digits by Wednesday. The interior valleys will be in the triple digits and remain that way until Friday. Temperatures for the coastal valleys will be in the 80s and the beaches will mostly be in the upper 60s to mid-70s on Tuesday.
Before the warming starts Tuesday, patchy morning fog will cover most of the beaches and coastal valleys before afternoon clearing.
Expect breezy conditions with winds ranging from 10-20 miles per hour with gusts getting up to 25 mph by the afternoon. With the wind, afternoon clearing along the coast is a possibility before clouds return by Tuesday night.
